| Safari
Travel enjoys an excellent reputation within the tourism
industry. Within East Africa, we are affiliated with and
fully licensed members of Kenya's Association of Tour
Operators (KATO). This governing body regulates and promotes
tourism to Kenya.
We
have also built strong relationships with the airline
industry. Our accomplishments over the past 10 years include:
- Successfully
managing the operations of Royal Swazi Airline in Kenya,
as their appointed GSA for Kenya.
- Successfully
managing the operations of Kuwait Airways in Kenya,
as their appointed GSA for East and Central Africa.
We
are currently the appointed agents (GSA) for Air Seychelles.
With this relationship in place, we can offer unique beach
holiday and tour packages that combine the splendor of
both Kenya and Seychelles. |

KATO
- Kenya Association of Tour Operators
KATO
members observe a strict code of conduct designed to ensure
that they trade honestly and professionally at all times.
The Association also expects members to comply with the
spirit of Kenya's tourist reputation, offering high quality
service, comfort, safety and value to all clients. Above
all KATO is committed to the true principles of eco-tourism,
promoting low impact, environmentally sensitive operations
to maximize visitors' enjoyment, understanding, awareness
of wildlife & landscapes, and due respect to local
communities and their cultures.
The full code is designed and monitored by the Ethics
and Standards Sub-committee and endorsed by KATO's Executive
Committee. It also offers a system of redress for agents
or individual travelers ensuring that cases of serious
dissatisfaction with a member's services can be formally
aired and addressed.
The overall goal is to uphold the integrity of Kenya's
tour industry. Members must offer clear, precise and useful
information about the country and tour, backed up by good
standards of service, equipment and facilities and a commitment
to informing and entertaining visitors to Kenya.

APG
- Air Promoters Group Association
The
Air Promotion Group Association is a professional association
of GSA operators around the world. APG admits only one
member per Country or BSP, thus securing the highest level
of professional membership, whose qualifications are subject
to IATA consideration. Safari Travel is proud to be the
associate member for Kenya.
The
objectives of the APG association are to:
- Become
prime part of the Airline Distribution system
- Be
identified in the role of " quasi-airline ",
having its own accounting code, adhering to IATA Standards
- Be
perceived as neutral, innovative and capable of offering
smaller Airlines services already enjoyed by larger
carriers
- Grow
away from the current GSA / Airlines relationship
Provide neutral ticketing facilities for client airlines
- Cooperate
with IATA Distribution Services in order to provide
client airlines not already participating in BSPs similar
facilities as major airlines.
- Establish
a network of Associate members around the World in order
to facilitate the mutual exchange of information
- Be
dedicated to rendering service to Airlines
